Our beautiful Grey Onyx; quarried in Turkey; is a striking natural onyx which can be used to create stunning feature walls, bars and countertops. Geologically grey onyx is compact banded travertine composed of very fine-grained calcite. By placing lighting behind it, they create a dramatic effect thanks to their translucent characteristic. A common decorative technique used with onyx is the use of book-matching and polishing both sides of the slab creating a high gloss finish.
